Broken Border: Justin’s Story – His name is Justin. Hes a heroin addict. Hes been sober for 42 days. And he’s 16. Its nearing the end of his first stay in one of Laredos few drug treatment facilities. Justin vows hes done with drugs and wont be back. But, the odds are against him. Drugs are abundant in border communities. Poverty is rampant. Substance abuse treatment is scarce.
